[103] Weird moving settings bug.

I had created a whole bunch of settings, alliases/triggers/etc but I didn't have them in classes yet, so I decided to make some classes and drag/drop the items into them.

My settings Layout looked like this...

Code:

+ Defaults
- MyPackage
  - My Class 1
    Alias
    Trigger
    Macro
  - My Class 2
    Alias
  Alias
  Alias
  Variable
  Variable
etc... up to about 15 trigs/vars/aliases in here unclassed.

My problem occured when I was dragging the variables into my Class 2

It would work 2/3 times in a row.. then the 3rd time it would look like it was going to work, but instead of moving a variable into my class... it actually ended up moving the SUB macro from the defaults class.... Which wasn't even open!

I did it again to test, and sure enough, it this time moved the KEY3 macro.. then the KEY1 macro etc.

It's almost like it's dragging the item that would have been under my mouse IF I had the defaults expanded (which I never did).

Weird one!

It sounds like you've fallen victim to some of the settings corruption that has been known to occur in 1.03. Zugg has already identified this problem and his one is main focii (focuses) for 1.04.

These are the vagaries of beta.

Yep, I've reproduced many of these problems and am actually working on the drag/drop stuff today.
