[1.03] Windows

Has anyone else played with multiple windows? Like for instance your main window and a chat window. What sort of behaviour did you get?

I don't know if I'm doing things wrong but I'm getting multiple settings for windows, for my main and chat, also the main window setting used to point to the correct pkg file now it points to the other package file even though it is still a setting under the main package file.

Perhaps the behaviour is due to the change over of window models and there are lots of bugs to be worked out. I'm interested to hear from anyone who has got multiple windows working.

I did a little bit of testing with capture windows and discovered that if you have even a single button in your session window and then create one or more child windows the button is moved to the first child window.

Another thing I noticed when I had 1.02 installed in the same directory as zmud is that if you opened a child window that had a .mud file with the same name as the child window cmud would create 2 packages. one named child.mud with that mud file's settings and another blank package named of the child.

So if you had a .mud file named tells.mud and opened a child window via #win tells cmud would create package tell.mud with the settings from tells.mud and a blank package tells.

I've had the same problem moonwlf mentioned. Also, once the child window has stolen all the buttons, if you then try to right-click where the buttons used to be then CMUD starts throwing exceptions
