As a developer, I'm loving this idea! The main thing for me is being able to use public/private keys with it, as I hate typing in my password all the time, and I'm constantly using SSH for both my local server and game server.

What other things do you want to see with this specific feature?

If you know a lot about SSH, please take a look at this link and let me know if you think these components will handle everything that you need. I don't know a whole lot about SSH myself, so I'll be able to release something a lot more quickly if I use a set of 3rd party components like this, rather than coding it all from scratch myself. The SecureBlackBox stuff that is linked above looks pretty good, and although it's expensive, it is probably still worth using considering the time it will save.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

That SecureBlackbox component looks great. It has SSHBlackbox included, which seems to handle all of the SSH features requested so far. It has support for public-key authentication and tunneling. Plus, aside from SSH support, it also has support for PGP and HTTPS, which could open up some interesting possibilities in CMUD.

PGP, isnt that what the zchat uses? I never did get that plugin to work.

"SSHBlackbox client-only" can be purchased separately instead of part of SecureBlackbox. If you don't need the other parts of the package, this will end up a lot cheaper.
