Problem with zMud window resizing itself

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction on this.
I recently installed the latest version of zMud on a brand new laptop (Dell Inspiron E1750) running Windows XP Media Center edition. When I access the menu, either with the mouse or the keyboard, the window shrinks in both x and y directions. Hitting an arrow key or moving the mouse over a different menu item continues to shrink until all I'm left with is a title bar. Needless to say this is driving me crazy.
I have zMud installed on my desktop as well and I don't have this problem, so it must be something with my laptop. Any ideas? |

If you have some kind of skinning program (such as WindowBlinds) you will need to add zMUD to it's exceptions list. This tends to be a common problem that a lot of people post about.

oooooh. That may be it. I have a skin from Stardok for Gal Civ II installed. I'll remove it and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks for the help!
