help plz |
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Something1
* Something2
* Something3
* Something...
* SomethingN
[Hit Enter]
* SomethingN+1
* Something...
* SomethingN+X
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
K this is the input I am dealing with usually no more than 12 Somethings but it varies and the hit enter is usually in there somewhere but sometimes not
I want to assign each Something to a macro e.g. hit F1 get and echo Something1. I want it to reset each time it gets new input it gets the bars at the beginning and end so I think that will help but I still don't know where to begin. Thx for the help in advance. |

Could you describe in a bit more detail?
I'm thinking assign the macro to
#SAY Something@count
#ADD @count 1
and another macro/trigger to reset the count to 1 when your line is reached. |

OK was trying to simplify things cause I just need the general principal. I was thinking I needed an array of some sort and didn't know how to do them. But here are the specifics: This is a quest card function I am trying to write
>This denotes the beginning of the card.
------------------------Card--------------------------------
>After this there are several items generally 12 or 13
* A morris cap
* Some black berries
* A Jar of Pickles
>I have speedwalks to all these things
>Somewhere in here it usually has a
[Hit Enter]
>Then a few more items
*A sword of Darkness
>At the end there is a
-------------------------------------------------------------
Basically I want to assign my speedwalks to macros when I view the card. So I can just hit F1 or F3 if I want to run_morris_cap or run_a_jar_of_pickles. This may be less complicated than I am making it I have dynamic arrays on the brain and I am not totally familiar with zMud programming. Thanks again. |
