Frustrated, can't get stable connection Imperial 7.21 dikumud

Sigh, I have been trying for a month now, more frustrated each day to get stable connection to this MUD. I log on, can stay connected from anywhere from 1 or 2 minutes to about 10 at most, if there is any 'movement' of my character at all. I spoke to someone from ZMUD who suggested it was my ISP who has indicated to me that everything looks good from THEIR end. I will add one thing my ISP support rep DID say that may shed some light..

."As per MUD support, you may want to ensure that any firewalls are
inactive and your proxy settings are disabled.

If the game involves peer-to-peer (P2P) applications, please refer to
the following : We understand your concerns regarding issues you are experiencing with your peer-to-peer (P2P) applications. To ensure a consistently high level of service for all customers, it is necessary to put limitson the amount of network bandwidth available for certain types of
applications. This process is called traffic regulation (rate-limiting,
traffic shaping, throttling). As peer-to-peer (P2P) applications have grown in popularity, their shareof overall network traffic has increased dramatically. In particular, the application Bittorrent uses all of the space available for uploads. To ensure that a relatively small number of applications do not slow service for everyone, we limit the space available for P2P uploads.
This ensures all customers have a high level of service for
time-sensitive tasks like sending email, requesting web pages or voice
messaging. " Ok im not very technical and don't really understand this much other than it seems this might be part of the problem? FYI, I tried to get into 4 other MUDS over the last couple of days with no disconnection problems. I am just having problems with the one. ANy suggestions?

Appreciate any or all suggestions. I would love to get online in this particular mud to actually enjoy playing!

So you are having troubles only with that mud and not others.

What did you type or do when it disconnected you?
Could it be an anti-idle code that is set and if you idle more than 60s it drops you or something?

If that might be the case try something like
