Completed System, but pain to give it to others!

I recently wrote a wonderfully working collection of triggers for Aetolia but am having the hardest time giving these to others because for some reason the settings are corrupt when they get em.

Now, I've tried highlighting all, hitting export and sending it in text, but they always seem to be missing certain trigs or they never seem to work the same way as mine does.

I've tried saving the mud file and sending it to them, but when they try to open it, it says that it's corrupt and unimportable.

Now, what I'm thinking I'd like to do is make an trigger on their end that let's me send my triggers to them in a long winded 'me tell them, "#trigger....." they add trigger and moving on. But I've tried this before and nothing has worked.

Any ideas on an easier way to share a system with friends? Or is there a command that would let me remotely add a trigger to their system as I said above?

Are you using things to expand such as [] or <> that might become interpreted in the read in by the other person?

What triggers exactly are being changed?

Check out the data migration

Are you exporting/importing to the same version?

This is why I write my scripts in a text editor first and import them into my settings, so I know that others can import them and use them just as I do without worrying about missing settings or improperly formatted commands from exporting. Besides, you can do some nice tricks in your text file, such as making alarms to synchronize buttons with variables or add missing variables with default values.

Build your combat system from the ground up in a text editor, importing and testing as you go, for the best portability and reliability.
