[MAPPER] Rooms with both Night & Day descriptions

Does anyone have a technique of dealing with mapping an area that has two descriptions.

Basically at certain times of the day the description flips from day desc to night desc and vice versa.

Depends on what you mean by 'dealing with'. Smile

If you mean, 'work in follow mode correctly', you can configure the mapper to match only on the room name (rather than name and first line of the description). Go to the map configuration settings, Configuration->Room Description, and check the 'Room Description Changes' box. The mapper will only have one of the two descriptions stored, but it will follow and speedwalk correctly as long as the room names remain the same.

the other way is if you can see the time on the mud ahead of time, the room before the area have an if statement to make you go to a diff map.
Of course that might not help if it turns to the other time of day while IN the area. *shrug*
