[7.21] Hotkeys

Is there an option to remap hotkeys?

I have the mapper window docked inside with my main mud output window. When I try to use Ctrl-Z to toggle on/off split screen, I get the 'Move rooms to zone' dialog box pop up instead, even if the window focus in on my main mud output window.

This is because both split screen and Move rooms to zone are both hotkey'd to Ctrl-Z. Since I never use the move rooms hotkey, I'd like to remove it.

There is no way to remap them. As I do not get this behavior when I dock the mapper, all I can say is pay more attention to the window focus as I believe your problems are stemming from assuming the wrong window has focus.

i've had ctrl-f call either the main windows search, or the map windows search.
The map is docked.
Never found a pattern to it.
I can be typing for an hour, BEEN using ctrl-f for the window search and never touch the map.
ctrl-f and i suddenly get the map search.

Set the Preferences so Macros override menu shortcuts is checked in the General|Command Line section, then use:
#KEY CTRL-Z {#FREEZE}

Vitae:
#KEY CTRL-F {#MENU {Edit|Find...}}

Vijilante is there a way to do this so that CTRL-A will select all text in the command line, instead of trying to make an alias? I never make aliases using CTRL-A so this behavior is quite annoying for me in Zmud

#KEY CTRL-A {#MENU {Edit|Select All}} seems to work, but I am not sure what focus issues it might have.

Vitae, I believe the menu command always directs to the main window unless a window is specified as part of the command. So the same text searching dialog should pop up and you will lose the keyboard shortcut for the mappers Find Room.
