Unlicensing zMUD?

I was always under the impression that when you unlicensed zMUD, the license key was returned to a server and could be used on either the same computer or a different computer thereafter... with the latest version though, unlicensing gives the message that the license key will -never- work on that computer again... is this true? I was hoping to completely remove and reinstall the program (including the license key and registry entries), but don't want to lose the ability to use it altogether.

License Keys expire after about a week and then they are no good anymore.
Follow the instructions in this link to retrive a new key (Please read the whole thing so you understand how often you can retrieve your key)
