Another question

Is it possible to turn off the creation of one way room exits so that whenever a new room is linked it will autmatically create a two way path without having to check and varify whether or not it is a one way or two way street? This would be very useful.

Not really. There may be an auto-link feature, but it doesn't stop the one-ways as two-way links are just two one-way links on top of each other. ZMud nor ZMapper doesn't ALWAYS handle them as one entity, so there are times during your editing where you might see a two-way link that only goes one way.
