using () in dbvar %val field |
Im using #ADDKEY to store a var in the %val field of a dbvar with the value of (123456), it stores but once the dbvar is saved it automaticly strips the () from the list.
The work around ive found for this is to readd the () around the number when you need that specific value... But I cant find a way to test and see if the %val is a 6 digit number. In my case any %val that is a 6 digit number as listed above would need () around it, but if it had any letter in it or was longer than 6 digits it would not. Id really like to find a way to just be able to store the number with the () in the %val field but if thats not possible ill settle for a way to test the %val field to see if it fits my parameters of a 6 digit number. thanks |
