When you installed it, were you logged in as an administrator? (If memory serves correctly, it needs to be installed as an administrator, but can be played as any user.) How far through the start up do you get? Do you see the splash screen?

OK, here's what happens, that red and black screen comes up, where it tells you it's initializing all the parts of the program, that takes a few seconds, then, When you expect to see the character screen pop up, instead pops up an error window that says the List index is out of bounds (0) and then it only allows me to click OK, which I do, and then it brings up the Character selection screen. When this happens, it doesn't fill in the buttons at top, the screen remains half blank, until I click the (CLEAR DESKTOP) button which is near the START button, and I re-open the ZMUD Window and it's normal looking. Hope the extra info helps you find me an answer to this, thanks again, and OH, yeah, I'm the administrator, it's the only account, this is my personal home computer, only I live here, so that's not the reason thus far.
