Database accessing problem

Hi all.
Using a database to store something for working out and displaying a set of information in a window - essentially as a lookup table, and I've got a problem accessing the data in it.

It loads fine, when I click on the db button it opens, no problem.

When I try to use #dbload on it, and access the data in it that way, nothing I can do seems to let me access the information from the command line. #showdb gives me a blank line, if I try to #showdb (line) it acts as if there's nothing there - essentially, it acts as if there's nothing loaded.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I've spent 5 hours trying to work out this bit of code, mainly because I can't get the scripting with it to access the database properly.

Edit: Also I've tried #dbload aa, #dbload aaffs, #dbload aaffs.db, whichever way I do it gives the same null result.

Hm, sitting here waiting and it worked >.<

I know pretty much nothing about this, but could my problem just be with waiting for it to load properly?
