Converting maps to ascii maps

Is it posible to convert/export (simple) maps to ascii maps?
This would be usefull.
It only has to show the exits as "|-/\" and the room as an "o"
(or something like it)
An other version that the "o" can be replaced with actual text (room name) would also be nice for ascii-map making. |
