Old Zmapper and upgrading |
Since the auto-updater doesn't appear to be working in the old, forgotten copy of version 1.15 I have installed, will it be ok to just download and install on top of it?

That is what I did and it seems to work perfectly. As always make backups of any personal files you have in the zmapper directory and subdirectories.

I didn't have any. As I said, old and forgotten. Installation went smooth, but since it didn't auto-upgrade itself it wasn't as smooth as ZMud. Luckily, no problems occurred with the store and I was able to get the license that way. I did get a tiny bit of a scare when I clicked the Retrieve License Key button, though. It worked and went directly to the updated email address (set via the ZMud upgrade process), but said the message was sent to the address that I registered with. |
