Disabled triggers

Quick question,

Do disabled triggers require any processing?

My setup contains a multitude of triggers many of which are class specific. When I enter my character name, it automatically enables folders relating to that characters class and disables ones that dont. Lately however, trigger patterns are not being spotted if theres too much spam. So Im wondering if all these disabled folders are causing any of the performance drop

Disabled triggers and disabled classes are not checked for trigger matches. I would assume that when a line of text or prompt comes in all triggers are checked for status; those that are disabled, not set to match that category, or otherwise disqualified are not submitted to match the line. So yes they do take some processing since thier qualifications have to be reviewed. This is all assumption on my part, unless Zugg corrects me I am most likely right.
