Character Files

Ok... i just ran back into a problem with the files again...
My current directory structure for zmud is the standard C:\zmud

in \zmud, i have my character folders, and then of course, i made a special folder called "inherited"

so we have
c:\zmud\inherited
and c:\zmud\character

now in the files page, if i do not specify the FULL pathname of the .MUD file for inherited files, ie: C:\zmud\inherited\sample.mud
it tries to load it from c:\zmud\CHARACTER\inherited\sample.mud

anyone know why it doesnt do this all the time?
7.05 i managed to get it all working right without full paths
7.13 was buggy with the files, then doing a totally clean install and reboot and it worked properly...
then upgraded to .13a and back to the files being silly (pathwise). just curious if there is something im missing

On the Files tab of the Character Properties window (the window that appears when you click the Edit button instead of Connect or Offline), there are a series of buttons near the top of the tab that tell ZMud where/when to look for a file. I never quite understood which button did what, but it might be something to play with.

Personally, I'd just rather use full path names because then it's a clear bug in ZMud if you end up with the wrong file. Easy bug = easy fix = more updates.
