Yaayyyy i know this one. Theres several ways you can do this the best way i find is use the room heading like this is a step by step example click the triggers button, click new, then put in the room heading like the first thing you see in the room. "example Narshe - Town Gate" then right click the trigger, and go to edit and the value box put #PLAY filename.wav or mp3 or whatever file you are using put the songs in the mud folder that your using thats the best way.

Triggers work based on mud prompt: What it sees in the mud window is what triggers it. But you have to be careful with it, too.

Pattern: I am a robot

The above pattern would trigger off any line containing the words "I am a robot." That can lead to problems. :P So, in your case, you would just put the pattern you want the sound to trigger off, and, well, what Zema said. :P
