How do I set %roomcol() using ANSI codes from room name???

Ok, I've read through so many posts on here and can't find one that helps me out. Basically I want to do this, set the room color on the map to the same color that is the room name on the mud. Does anyone have a script for this?

Here is an example of the output from the mud:

Road <#9119RI>
The path runs north and south at this point. You are surrounded by dense forest as the sunlight can barely penetrate the trees. Very few noises can be heard with the exception of the rustling brush.
Obvious exits:
North <N> South <S>

So I'd like the map to automatically pick up the color green in the roomname and color the map room that color. There's probably 20 variations of color that each room could be, so I'm hoping to just pull the ANSI codes from the roomname and use roomcol() but not sure how to do this.

Please enlighten me!
