Where can I get version 7.05?

I upgraded to version 7.13 today but apparently I can't use that version on my computer. When I run it I get this message:

"eLicense Control -- In order to finish initializing, this application must first be run by a user with administrator privileges. Please contact your system administrator for help. 0-3"

I really want to go back to what I was using. I run the old version just fine and would like to "downgrade." Can anyone help please? I checked this site and couldn't find the version 7.05 for download anywhere.

Thanks.

I bet you are using window XP arent you. :P I am running version 7.05 on a temp basis. so if it cant be found anywhere on this site, get in conntact with me. untill then you can use gmud, moe's mud, or the mud magic client to play your muds. they are free but pale in compairison to the great Zugg's software. gmud is the best bet by my opinion and can be found on the candyland mud's website. search google for candyland gmud it should be the first thing to pop up

I don't support old versions. The error message tells you exactly what you need to do: You need to run zMUD for the first time using the Admin account on your computer. This is true of all versions of zMUD when you upgrade. Once you run it the first time from the Admin account, then it will work fine from your user account, just like 7.05 did.

Well, in that case I'm not sure how I got 7.05 to work in the first time place. I don't have admin rights on this computer and I never have. I can't run it from Admin, I don't have Admin rights and I don't know who does.

Someone gave me a link to ZDnet and I deleted the new version and re-installed 7.05, and it works just fine again. I'll just stay here. :)

Thanks for your help and input!

That's very odd. Not that I'm accusing you of anything, but it's basically impossible to run zMUD without Admin rights the first time. Admin rights are needed to install the eLicense system, so unless you already had eLicense installed from some other software, the registered version of zMUD wouldn't run without it. And since 7.13 uses the same version of eLicense as 7.05, then both should have worked.

I sure hope you aren't using a cracked version of zMUD or something. Not that anyone would admit it.

I remember that a few years ago a forum poster did admit just that, and I also remember the chaos that it caused Mr. Green.
