overwriting |
Since I upgraded to 7:13, I'm having a problem with editing what I type in to the mud. Suppose I type, for instance "say helo Ben, how are you?", I spot my error before I press enter but if I go back and try to put in the extra l it is set to OVERWRITE!. So I have to type the whole thing over again, or cut and paste a big chunk of text. I can't find a way to change the setting so I can just edit normally. Can someone tell me how to do it please?

Try hitting insert on your keyboard...?

That's probably the problem...
Insert acts as overwrite or insert. Experiment with it. Perhaps you have insert set as a macro, and that's what's messing you up.
