zMUD won't start - system clock error |
When I try to start zMUD, I get a window that pops up saying:
Clock Change Detected!
The system's clock has been set back. Please restore it to the correct time and run the application again.
If the clock has been restored to the correct time and you still see this message, then connect to the internet and verify the time by pressing the 'Verify Time' button. (If you use a proxy, you can use the 'Proxy' button to set proxy information)
The run the application again.
So, my clock is set correctly, I click on the 'Verify Time' button, and I get this window:
ZMUD.EXE
Your system clock has not been correctly reset.

I can tell you that my clock IS correctly set. I've tried rebooting my computer with no luck. Any help? |

First of all, the only time that should show up is if you are using the unregistered version. It prevents people from "adding" more time to their trial dates.
All that aside, though...
Check your date, double check to make sure it is the correct month, correct day, and correct year. Someone had a problem with this earlier and found out after a while that their date was off by an entire year.
If all else fails, save all your settings in a different folder, uninstall zMUD, and reinstall it. Or, just buy the registered version. $30 is not bad for this, and if you use it for work, you can claim it's tax deductable!

Actually charneus it shows up even if you have registered. It is releated to e-license and the 90 day auto expire, but 9 times out of 10 it is because your year is off
