Solution???

I was having pretty much the same issues as Oracle, running almost the exact same configuration, except for the spysweeper. I am not, however, running norton at home, and haven't had this issue there. Here's a solution that seems to have worked for me:

I deleted the only character that I had in the open screen, that was giving me the Invalid Pointer and access errors, and created a new one. After doing this, I connected to my mud, logged in and loaded my settings file, same one I had used with the character I deleted. I then did a settings->save, and hit the quit button.

Upon multiple restarts of Zmud, I haven't encountered the error since. I could not get into the beta forum because of a missing groups link up top, so I couldn't find out where to get 7.12a. This seems to have resolved my issues with version 7.12.

Hope this helps.

Edit : Oops, wrong forum. Sorry Zugg :(
