Mapper not showing directions when new room is made

Ok, two problems

Two sample rooms:

Garden of Knowledge.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Draryn, the sage sits upon a small hill, ready to share his knowledge with any willing to learn. A dark and beautiful pedestral rises from the ground here with an ornately-covered book resting atop it.
You see exits leading southeast, south, southwest and in.

Highway on the fringes of the Putoran hills. (road).
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. A warm, yellow flame sits here, constrained to the shape of a small sphere.
You see exits leading north, east and southwest.

Now, first and foremost, when I make a new room with the autoconfig, it picks up the first example room's name, description and exit lines, but the room itself made from the autoconfig, has no exit lines showing possible exits. I think this is because I'm missing something in directions, but I'm not sure....

Second problem. The second example room has the (road). on the end, and the autoconfig doesn't seem to pick it up as the room name anymore. I tried making a tag trigger for it like

*. ~(road~). #tag name

but for some reason, it still doesn't pick it up, even when I confirmed that the trigger is actually picking up the names and triggering.....

Thanks for your help ahead of time. Very Happy

Ok, figured out that issue. Got it following me, but odd thing now is that it queues my movement, but doesn't add a room to the map until my triggers fire on something.....

Any idea how to make the map either not use the cue, or to make it use it every step?
