Have you tried zMUD lately? This is the smallest and fastest version of zMUD yet. The eLicense copy protection system has been removed. As-you-type spell checking has been added, along with auto correction of spelling mistakes.

The new version of zMUD no longer uses the eLicense copy protection system. To upgrade your existing software, download the new version and run it. If it detects a valid eLicense registration code, an Upgrade button will be displayed. Click this Upgrade button and follow the instructions to upgrade your old reg code into a new license key.

New with v7.13 was the spelling checker and new database format for your character database and mud listing.

The as-you-type spellchecker underlines mispelled words with red squiggles just like Microsoft Word. Right-clicking on a mispelled word shows the possible corrections and has an Auto Correct feature that will automatically correct that same spelling mistake in the future. The spell checker is customizeable and can also check commands, functions, variables, and aliases. More dictionaries are available Here for many different languages.

A lot of work from myself as well as the dozens of beta testers have gone into this version. In order to encourage people to try the new version, I have also reset the 30-day trial for anyone that used zMUD v6.40 or earlier. So, if you tried an older version of zMUD and found it to be slow or unstable, give the new version a try. It's better than most of the public versions I have released in the last couple of years.
