Auto Clear Input

I have this setting enabled for most of my characters, however, I would like it to be disabled for others that are used on a different mud. The thing is, every time I change the setting for one mud, it affects the setting for both muds. What needs to be changed so that the setting is saved to the specific mud and not saved to all of them? Or, is there a way to set up an alias to change this setting on the fly?

You won't be able to affect any changes via script code, since Preferences are generally (completely?) not connected to that system. In addition, certain settings are stored centrally in zmud.ini rather than in the settings file so the cross-character application you're seeing is probably indicative of this. You should be able to get around this, though, by using an #ONINPUT trigger that uses #INPUT. It won't highlight the text and it includes commands sent via macro/other settings, so this might be a problem for you.

#ONINPUT {(%*)} {#INSERT "%1"}
