Inherited Button Problems |
Ok, seems I have found a bug in inherited buttons.
Here is the situation...
I have two characters on a mud, that i used to use completely separate settings for, even though they were the same. Recently discovered how to make inherited files (thanks to nexela's documentation in the documentation section on here).
Anyways, there are 4 buttons in the inherited file:
HP
MANA
MOVE
TNA
Hp is setup in the following fashion:
variable: @hp
max: @maxhp
low: @maxhp / 5
Color:
Now this is where it gets interesting.. at first when i made it.. i used my normal setup
Normal: gauge color = lime green, low color = dark green, guage background = black
But, after doing that, i noticed the colors were reversed when i reloaded, so i reversed them in the inherited
Inherited: gauge color = dark green, guage low = lime green, background = dark grey
That works the way i need it to when i log the chars (works for both chars)
I did the same exact thing for the MANA, MOVE, and TNA buttons..
the only things that change are the variable definitions themselves...
Now heres where it gets amusing...
All of the buttons but TNA work as described above... them i had to setup the regular way, so that it would the reverse... anyone have any idea what is causing this? |
