Unremovable plugins cause permanent program failure |
I just installed this program to test out, and tried to put a couple plugins from the www.wotmud.org/forums site. It was the spinningtimer and the Ticktimer plugins. The spinningtimer worked, but the ticktimer, after installed, didnt do anything, so I restarted zmud. After I did that, now, the "Loading ZMUD Modules 0" goes through to "Wotmud Spinning Timer Modifier" and it is "Initing" and it hangs there for a minute, and than the programs crashes, and it fails to even start.
I than removed the plugins, and tried again. That didn't work. I than uninstalled zmud and reinstalled it. It worked up until it had loaded all the default mud modules, than it somehow detected the ALREADY DELETED plugin, and crashed again. I than reinstalled zmud, and restarted my computer, and no change whatsoever. If this continues, I will never be able to use this program. Your help would be appreciated.

You could try running a registry cleaner, but no guarantees. that being said backup your registry.
Start-Run-Regedit
browse to Current_User->Software->Zuggsoft->Zmud->Plugins And delete the Key folder for the spinning timer |
