Prompt problems

Ok, here's the setup.

1. I have local echo turned off. I like it that way.
2. I have the prompt configured in #setprompt to grab vars
3. I have a trigger to color the prompt
4. I have an #echo %lf in the prompt trigger to give me a new line otherwise the virtual caret sits at the end of the prompt.
5. The prompt from the mud does not contain a CR/LF.

here's the problem.
If I have local echo turned off, ZMud does not put the prompt in my log files. Only when I turn local echo on does it place prompts in the log.

Is there anyway to run the way I want and still have the prompt logged?

Thanks in advance
