Unknown? |
In zMUD whenever I click anywhere even on the close button I get a dialog box saying unknown.
This has never happened before.
Does anyone know what is wrong? |

It seems as though your inquiry lacks specification. Could you inform us of:
1) zMUD Version Installed.
2) a walkthrough from initial execution.
Alternatively, if you have yet to attempt to do so:
1) Copy your configuration, database, and layout files to a safe location.
2) Uninstall zMUD
3) Reinstall zMUD
I know my response may seem bland, but I wanted to make sure you did get a reply. |

I have 7.05
1. I opened the zMUD shortcut from the start menu
2. When ever I click anywhere I get this error
EDIT: I tried unstalling and reinstalling zMUD but that didn't work |

Thanks for replying with the stats. From researching these forums and Google, I did find some information on a relevant error and plausible solution. I would advise that you read the listed posts thoroughly and consult us here in the event you have any difficulties understanding the task at hand.

I don't want to babble about my lack of direct knowledge on a solution, but this does seem promising.
Good luck! |

This is also happening to me, in both zMUD and zMapper, and is rendering both applications totally useless.
EDIT: I've uninstalled and re-installed zMUD, no dice. Did the Jet/MDAC thing that Zugg suggests, and still nothing works.
Using WinXP SP2, zMUD 7.05, zMapper is 1.22BETA. Once I start these programs, I have to Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and do an "End Process" on their processes to kill the program. Any attempt to do anything else brings up the box "Unknown" as pictured above. |
