When I try and update my mudlistings I get an error saying
Access Violation

erm...ya..here's the message I get, if anyone can help me, because currently, I can't access Zmud:

Access violation at address 00003F29. Read of address 00003F29.

And also this one too:

Access violation at address 00401DCC in module 'Zmud.exe'. Write of address 00003F2D.

Happened here too. From the Characters window I selected New, then Get, and then chose to update the new listings for the database. It starts to update but then displays an access violation (sorry, at work and don't have the exact error).

After I OK the errors, when I click on any mud listing the list "emptied" down to 1 MUD and the cursor turned to the hourglass (while held over the listing).

I was able to Cancel out of the New Character screen, select New again, and the listing was updated.

Odd, but it worked. I can provide more detail later if needed.

Hmm...When I open ZMud, there's only Aardwolf in the listings, and I couldn't click on anything, because then the error sign would pop up again. And there was no New Character screen either...just Connect and Offline. Any other ideas?

Tried to update again.

Open zMUD, select New > Get > Update all Muds

It downloads all the MUD data and starts to process it, but ends up with an error:

"Access violation at address 00000004. Read of address 00000004."

Select "Cancel > New > Get > Update all Muds" results in error:

"Cannot create file C:\zMUD\mudconnector.htm."
