Weird trigger problem.

Hello,

I have a strange trigger problem, hope you can help.

I want to capture my prompt informations. It looks like this :

HP: 193/193 CP: 150/150 >

So far, I've tried nearly every combination without success and finally got this trigger, used my another user of the MUD I'm on (Dune) :

#TRIGGER {HP: (%d)/(%d) CP: (%d)/(%d)} {#VARIABLE hp %1;#VARIABLE hpmax %2;#VARIABLE cp %3;#VARIABLE cpmax %4}

It *should* work, no ?

Well, at first, ZMud kept creating too many variables "hp hpmax", "hp", "CP:" and other irrelevant variables (7 in all).

Then ZMud started to warn me about my clock when loading.

I've removed my licence, desinstalled ZMUd (7.05) and made a fresh install. Now Zmud doesn't create *any* variable at all with this trigger.

The trigger is indeed in my triggers list but doesn't seem to capture the informations (yes, the triggers ARE active). I tried creating the various variables myself but they don't get filled with any data.

Other basic triggers work fine.

I'm really lost. Any idea ? Am I doing something wrong ?

My computer is running XP with SP2.

Thanks in advance

Guillaume.

They were prolly saved in a class that was disabled

Make sure the trigger isn't disabled, it isnt in a class that is disabled, and that the variables are not in a class that you can't see, Use the FILTER option in the settings window, Make sure the PROMPT option is checked and the newline isn't, And lastley make sure the trigger ACTUALLY matches the prompt (including spaces)

All right, the only thing left for me is to get somewhere far and hide in shame. Confused

The was indeed a missing space in the trigger...

I thought I've checked it 20 times at least but I should have made one more check before posting. I probably fiddled too much between the trigger and the "set prompt" command of the Mud. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Sorry for bothering you, it works fine now.

Anyway, thanks for your quick answer.

Guillaume.
