Status window floating and not "Sticking" |
I use the status window and it used to be a part of the main window. The main window was split into two parts, the status window and the mud. Not it floats and it annoys me to no end. Any idea how i can get it to "stick" again?
Let me know if I haven't given enough information.

hold down the alt-key while moving the status window over the main window. It should probably do the trick.

Make sure you don't have the layout locked (also in the Layout menu I believe)

i have a similar behavior.. in my case, to solve it.. after setting the window to where its wanted (unlock in layout menu first and then lock) , i need to do the following twice before the window will "stick": select the window from the "Window" drop down list and click the push pin button (one of the 4 buttons that shows at top right of window)
