Speedwalks Shortcut Stopped Working |
My keyboard shortcut for the speed walks menu has stopped working. CTRL-S used to bring up a menu that had all my speedwalks in them (a smaller smaller, not the one where you could edit all your settings – just the paths).
About an hour or so ago, this keyboard shortcut stopped working (after a PC crash). I’ve searched the forums and found #MENU {View|Paths}, which I tried and it works, except it brings up a different path box, where I can edit/add, etc… rather than the smaller one that let me just select the speedwalk. This other menu is much slower, etc.. so I really want to get the smaller menu back. I’ve looed around my settings and can’t see anything that seems to help, and the zmud help doesn’t seem to cover it.
Any advice on how I can get this menu back?
Thanks in advance for your help . |

You seem to be referring to the 'Speedwalk to Path...' found under the 'Actions' menu. This seems to work perfectly for me so I must assume you created a macro for CTRL-S. Under the 'View' menu select 'Macro keys...', this will bring up the Settings Editor. Next select the 'All Classes' button if it is not already selected. Finally look for a macro that has 'CTRL-S' defined as its key combination. If one does either give it a new assignment or delete it according to your preference.

Yes, that’s exactly what I mean, thanks: the ‘speedwalk to path’ menu that under the ‘actions’ menu. However, when I select this menu under the ‘actions’ heading, it doesn’t work from there either (all the others under ‘actions’ seem to).
I check all macros, and I don’t have one defined for CTRL-S, but as the speedwalk to path menu doesn’t come up directly from the menu either, it seems like it’d be something other than an accidentally assigned macro.
Is there perhaps a command like #MENU {View|Paths} that I can assign for the speedwalk to path menu? I have hundreds of speedwalks accumulated over years, so bringing up the full menu takes a few seconds too long, takes up too much screen, etc….
Thanks for your help. |
