RSS

Zugg, The RSS link on the blog home page does not work. I get a error when using firefox.

Error message - "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below"

I'm very much looking forward to RSS feeds of the blog and all the forums.

Does the RSS link on the main "Home" page work (that's the page you get by clicking the Home link in the Forum icon toolbar).

I haven't actually tested the RSS link that is part of the Blog stuff yet. It comes as an automatic feature, but given the poor quality and quantity of bugs that I've already dealt with in the Blog MOD, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it didn't work. Unfortunately, I won't have time to work on that for a while.

Actually, I just clicked the link here and got proper XML within Internet Explorer. So, someone who knows something about RSS is going to have to take a look at this XML data for me and tell me why it's not a valid RSS feed, or if this is just a Firefox issue. I don't know enough about RSS at this point to debug it.

The only RSS link I have seen was off the Home page, on the bottom left. That is the one I was addressing that does not appear to work. What other pages have RSS links?

I noticed that this topic string has a RSS link on the top left, but I don't see this link when I open any other topic.

Anyway, don't let me distract you from eMobius.

Has anyone else been able to get the RSS link off the home page to work? I see the following xml but I get a error in firefox.

Code:
rss version="2.0">

ok, i got it working. In firefox you need to manually add the link as a new live bookmark. For some reason firefox does not detect it on its own.

Yeah, there is another RSS feed for just the Blog. Go to Zugg's Blog and in the lower-right corner you'll see an XML button.

I think people had the link on the main home page working in RSS-Reader. Not sure why Firefox didn't detect it, but if you find out what it's looking for, let me know.
