Help with Paths |
I am using the newest version of zMud, i can record the path no problem.
But I wm using zMud for Achaea, and when i run the path the slow walk aborts, and the fast walk enters too many commands too fast and the the whole thing is just a mess.
My question is: How do I overcome these problems?
I am very new to zMud, so please basic english.
Thanx,
Mike |

I am assume you are not using the automapper. You have to setup a trigger that preforms the command #OK and use slow-walking for your paths. The trigger should have a pattern matching something that is consistently in every room such as an exit line. Achaea is notoriously bad about how it displays room information, so you may have to make multiple triggers to catch different forms of the line.

I have gotten some paths to work, I needed to add a delay, which i finally figured out how to do. but the reverse doesn't work so well, so will need to make multiple paths. I gave up on the auto-mapper as the config of it must be a real pain in the well you know to get right. I kept getting multi room layovers and then when you try to wak with it, just screws it all up.
So is someone has a map DB they wanna send me, great. or a group of completed paths, til then, I will just keep plugging away and debugging the ones I am righting
Thanx,

Search for "Achaea and map". There's lots of info out there to help you out.
