Paying for a script |
Hello,
I'm looking to pay someone to write me a script that does quests, this script would recognize what quest is being asked for and would go to the correct location and retrieve an item or kill a mob. This script would also cast a few spells incase of a kill quest and possibly flee if health got low. I am familiar with programming but no where near enough to write it myself, I'm looking for the above with a few of the quests already filled in so I can fill the rest in.
Please let me know if anyone is willing to do this and how much you charge

Not to burst meg's bubble, but have you Searched the Forum for quest scripts? There's quite a few out there. Of course, you'd have to tinker with them to fit your specifications, but that's half the fun

Falan -- Thanks, I'll check it out.
Megamog75 -- I'm not sure how long it would take to write something like this so I can't really put a price on it, how much would you want for it? ;)

I'll start the bidding. $200 + $10/hr for any script taking longer than eight hours. Satisfaction guaranteed.
$500.00 annoyance penalty fee applicable for any changes requested for frivolous and/or cosmetic reasons which do not add to or materially change the functionality of the script. This bid is for a script wholly described by the initial post dated September 19, 2004, 10:13am, titled "Paying for a script" Ref. Num. 71107. No work other than what is stated in the post shall in any way be construed as part of said script. Bids for any script beyond that described by the initial post shall be negotiated apart and separate from this bid. The bidder shall reserve the right to set the time of commencement and completion of said script so long as the functionality of the finished product is acceptable to the paying party. Furthermore, the bidder reserves the right to subcontract part or all of the work to any third party, but shall retain sole responsibility for functionality. Bidder shall retain full rights to the completed product and may, at his sole discretion, actively market the completed work to any/all parties. The party requesting this script shall in no way seek recompense for any profit realized from these marketing efforts, even if he/she is materially impacted within the community for which the script was written. |

Possibly, but I'll have to charge you $10 per attempt as a speaking fee, detailed in another contract with its own attendent fine print.

I'd ask to read the new fine print, but I'm afraid of incurring yet additional charges!
