zMUD on a Network |
Me and My Wife both MUD using zMUD, but we commonly find ourselves switching computers. I have an internal network at home with a file server, and am curious if there is anything special I need to do to allow both computers with thier own zMUD install/license to use the files on the networked file server.

Should work fine, the only problem is getting the info you require on the computer you want it without having to look for it.
What I'd recommend is using the "save as" feature to save to a network drive; you may then load the file on any computer you want. |

Okay, got it working,.... mostly.. whenever one zMUD is started, it locks out the files so that the other can't use it at the same time... someway to fix this please?
And actually, I got it working to where it automatically loads the file no matter what computer I am running zMUD on. |
