Minimised MUD window

My darling little cat stepped on something on my keyboard, and managed to make the widow with the MUD information get minimised or something. All I can see now is the title of the window, and just below that, the input par with the trigger/parser thing. Any ideas on how to fix it?

View->prefs->general and check "mud output"

I fixed it by re-installing, but it's something to keep in mind for next time.

Re-installing will not help because the information for the window state is stored in the .mud file along with all of your triggers, aliases, etc. Since you didn't delete your .mud settings file when you reinstalled, the problem remains.

As nexela stated, click 'View' on zMud's menu bar, then 'Preferences', then 'General...' and check 'mud output'.

This should solve your missing window problem for this session. In order to fix things so they stay fixed, you'll need to over-write/save the settings file.

On zMud's menu bar, select 'Settings' then 'Save'.

That didn't work. I ended up just re-installing, and then putting my triggers and aliases in by opening the old .mud document in microsoft word. It's fixed, finally. I still wish I knew what made it go wrong in the first place.

erm.. had a similar problem happen long ago, and it wasn't the .mud file, it was a zMUD.ini file or one similiar.. just had to delete it, and start zMUD.

Zugg might remember that email....

not really sure if this helps or not, but sometimes i also only have the window title left and clicking on the minimize/resize button doesn't work. You have to grab the lower part of the title and drag the window open to the desired size.
