Settings Import Query

Howdy all,

I have been a devout follower of Zugg for many years, and over the years I have upgraded slowly ... I get stubborn and dig my heels in when I get the program set up just as I like it :)

Anyways...

I have been using 5.54 for quite some time now and finally decided to break down and give 7.0x a try. My question is this ... is there a way to import all my 5.54 settings into 7.0x? I know in previous versions this was a possiblity.

Files that would need to be imported:

mudchar.dat
mud folders (quite alot ... been mudding 15+ years)

Etc..

Thanks in advance,

Magister.

There sure is. In fact, it should be automatic. Backing up such things is still reccommended, but you should have no problems simply installing 7.05 directly to the same directory. There have been many changes to the scripting language, but Zugg has always gone to great lengths to maintain backward compatibility. So unless your scripts were using a bug they should all continue to work.
