Trigger on #var change value?

I'm really new to zmud and scripting etc, but I wondered if it's possible to trip a trigger when a variable changes value. The variable could change to anything rather than what it is, so i can't think how i would use <> because it will be referring to itself?

Anyway, any help appreciated. I did search but couldn't spot anything.

Best

I think i've figured this out for myself. Writing the above made me think better lol.

I just assign #var1 = #var2 then check 1 against 2 using an #if command if match - loop if doesn't match then trigger and re-assign new var1 to var2.

Anyway, think that's it, obviously not written out properly, but I think the logic is there. Now i'll just have to get it right.
