Room Contents Problem

Hi, im using zMUD 7.05 with the mapper, i want to be able to record the contents of a location (Room). for example the herbs that grow in a location. So im trying to use the room contents section of the Room Properties in the mapper. I follow the normal Add button method and create a record in the data base. Unfortunately what then shows in the mapper > room properties > room contents window is a list of the record numbers instead of the text entered in the name field.
If any one can put me right i would be most grate full
