Zmud dropping link

As soon as I connect to my favorite mud Zmud will show me the welcome screen and drop the connection before I can type anything in and attempt to reconnect. Has anyone run into anything similar and if so.. has anyone found a way around it? Happens on both 7.05 and 5.55

No, I've never run into anything similar.
Try to narrow down the problem.
What's different about your favorite MUD where you get disconnected and all the other MUDs you play where you don't?
Do you get disconnected if you disable triggers before connecting?
Do you get disconnected if you disable the atconnect alias before connecting?
Since this is your 'favorite' MUD, presumably you've been playing it for quite awhile and this is a new problem that wasn't happening in the past. What changed? Did your MUD get moved to a new server? Were any other major changes introduced recently? Is this a new character?

Sure I can give you all the details you want! I have tried disabling triggers.. I don't have any atconnect aliases because I created a new icon just for this mud. there is nothing really different about this mud.. in fact I have seen similar behavior happen on a couple muds now. what other info would help people?

You do have an atconnect alias even if it's blank.
The most obvious detail would be the name or webaddress of the MUD. Additional details would include whatever is displayed on your screen during the brief period you are connected. You'll probably need to leave the character open Offline in order to find that out. |

I actually connect fine.. the entire welcome message of the mud comes up.. but as soon as the Name: field comes up.. the link seems to get severed and zmud tries to reconnect, I know it's something silly, I've just tried pretty much everything.. any thoughts.. please :)

I think you are probably sending the wrong name/password combo.
Another possibility is that you have been sitebanned.
I think if you really wanted help you'd answer my questions instead of ignoring them.
In case you didn't recognize my last question, since it was in the form of a statement, I'll rephrase it:
