error in <unknown> |
Searched through faq's and didnt see any thing that was directly related.
Zmud refuses to start and all I receive is "Zmud has caused an error in <unknown>" "Zmud will now close" .... no splash screen whatsoever no codes.
I am running WinME. The problem cropped up about same time I was having issues with "about:blank" (coolwebsearch browser hijacker). I was able to remedy the browser problems (using ad-aware and cwshredder) but may have created another.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled zmud to no avail. Note that I am unable to uninstall e-license (I get same zmud error message)
Any ideas? |

Something is definitely damaged in your eLicense installation. I would suggest emailing them directly with as many details of how the problem was created as you can recall. Ask them for a utility to repair or uninstall the damaged files.

I resolved the situation ... though the solution was not quite so elegant. I ended up doing a registry restore (run scanreg /restore)and loaded a registry that was saved prior to the event.
That seemed to do the trick .... zmud ran well and the browser hijacker was gone. |
