Button locations

I feel fairly confident with buttons after reading the help files, but there is one thing I would like to do with them still

I'm a little confused on how to change the button state using an trigger/alias and variable, instead of the button itself.
and
Is there a way to change the location of the buttons to the bottom of the window? I would like to have guages down near the prompt where they are easier to reconize. I have seen buttons on the bottom by loading MUDs other than Achaea, but can't figure out how to get them there.

Any help would be appreciated,
Bob

Button location is controlled on the button's Location/Size tab in the Settings Editor. If you want them at the bottom of the window, make sure the Panel they are on is aligned to the Bottom.

Under Position/Size Tab, there is a small section.

Location
Panel: 1
O Top
O Left
O Bottom
O Right
O None

Click one of the radial buttons.

Its much easier using the 'button wizard' provided, I had been typing them all in notepad and importing the file
