LicCtrl problems |
Contemplating buying ZMud, but for some reason can't get it to run on my work machine.
On this machine, after installing ZMud, a new service, LicCtrl appeared. As the other thread suggested, I enabled it, and made automatic. However, it does not start, saying "Path not found". For some silly reason, it got installed in my home directory on a network drive. I copied it into c:windows and updated the pointer in registry to point to that. It still won't start.
The very weird thing is that it runs fine on my home machine. Both are running Win 2003 with latest service packs. |

Updating the registry by hand probably won't work. Go to the page http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/elicense.htm and near the bottom there is a link to the eLicense Uninstaller. Download this and run it to clean the registry. Then run zMUD again which will re-install eLicense.
If that still doesn't work, then you'll need to contact eLicense directly at support@elicense.com for more help. |
