I found layout the hardest thing to control in zmud7.05!

It seems that 7.05 did get a/some minor change(s) in docking. I've found that using the 'quick tiling' horizontal/vertical tiling to be very easy and a good first step in arranging the windows.
After the total number of horizontal or vertical(as to your preference) windows are created and placed with quick tiling, you may change tiling to NONE and be able to drag, drop, and dock as you please.
I use the ALT option so that I don't inadvertently move already placed windows.
Finally, Save Layout followed by Lock Layout followed by another Save Layout has never failed to control the layout just like I want it.
