A question about license |
I have bought a $29.95 zmud 7.05, and I have successfully licensed the zmud software on my pc :) Now I want to send one copy of zmud to my friend for his pc, so I am wondering whether can I use this license on different computers? And I want to have a total controling power of my license, how can I do this? Thank you!

You get ONE license that you can use on up to THREE computers. If you give your ONE License to your friend you will not have total controling power over it. If he is a good, close, knows he would get his butt kicked if he ruined your license kind of friend. You could let him use one of your instances of THREE but remember you will not have control over what he does with it. Your best bet would be to just buy another Licencse for 29.95 and give that to him :P

quote: From license.rtf
zMUD is licensed to a single user.
Your license is for your use. It does not permit you to share it with friends.
It's also very foolish to share it with friends, since anyone who knows the registration number can use as many of the three installations as are not in use. In other words, once you give your friend the registration, he has just as much control over it as you do. You may wake up some day to find your 90-day period expired overnight, and you need to reregister, but there are no longer any licenses available (your friend got there first). |
