%i always becomes %{i}

I am a member on a mud that uses %i to represent a certain character when setting certain options.

I have a macro defined (F12) that sends a special command to the mud when I hit it. The problem is, it keeps converting the %i to %{i}, and the mud doesnt recognize the {} chracters. Hence, the whole thing doesnt work.

How can I get it to stop replacing the %i with %{i}??

My apologies if this has been answered before. I searched the forums and the helpfiles before posting this question.

Can someone help??

Thanks!

quote your macro so zmud does not try to access the internal %i variable like this ~%i

#KEY F12 {~%i}
